BASIC HAIR CARE TIPS
Hair Maintenance Instructions:
*When receiving hair; comb through, rinse, condition and drip dry. Make sure to comb through vigorously again removing loose hairs that were not caught while wefting; then cut off hair clamp.
*For BEST results, rinse, apply and brush Tresemme conditioner through your hair in the shower immediately after applying your weave, let it drip dry, then style as desired.
*Because we take ever effort to make sure that your wefts are constructed tightly, make sure to inform your Stylist to sew around the wefts and Not through them, (sewing through puts holes in the wefts and makes them shed). If hair sheds, hair will tangle because of the loose cuticles floating around.
* Shampoo using names like Aussie, VO5, Tresemme, but condition with Pantene (Moisture Renewal) or similar. No Black Products!
* All hair is guaranteed No Matting...Period! If you feel that the hair is matting, repeat the steps listed above, take a picture, and contact us.
YOUR HAIR NEEDS TO BE CO-WASHED (co-wash means, conditioner only!)
Straight to Loose wavy hair 1-2 times per week
Wavy to Curly hair 2-3 times per week
You need to keep your hair moisturized. If you don't it will cause drying, tangling, and shedding. Oil isn't moisture, but can be used to seal in the moisture during deep conditioning. Providing moisture is accomplished by using a moisturizing conditioner. It can take 2-4 weeks to find a regiment that will work well with your hair extensions. We can't tell you exactly what to use on your hair extensions because each bundle is provided from a different unknown hair donor and no two bundles are exactly the same.
Shampoo very sparingly, since it's known to strip hair of moisture because hair isn't attached to the scalp there aren't oils being deposited consistently and that's where conditioner plays a role in removing sweat, some product build up and restoring moisture.
